Quality of Clothing

There are a huge amount of shops that sell clothes from a range of different brands nowadays. Most of these clothes are made in China or other Asian countries due to cheap labour costs. Some say that due to this, along with the increasing use of plastic in clothing, the clothes are now of a much lower quality than in the past.

It is true that years ago people used to keep clothes for years without a problem, but now it seems that you need to buy new clothes almost on a yearly basis.

Instructions:
Go through the vocabulary below with your students and ask them to try and use this vocabaulry where possible when discussing the different conversation questions.
