What is a Taxi?

Taxis are vehicles that you can hire to take you from one place to another. They’re usually driven by a professional driver called a “taxi driver”. Taxis have a special sign on top of the car that makes them easy to spot. You can find them at taxi stands, or you can call for one using your phone or hail one on the street.

Taxis are a convenient way to get around, especially if you don’t have your own car or you want to avoid public transportation. Taxis are a bit more expensive than buses or trains, but they give you the freedom to go wherever you want, whenever you want.
